Sinking ("the app") is a karaoke queue app run by Scott Alberts. It uses YouTube API Services to search for and play karaoke videos.
YouTube API Services.
By using the app you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Video search and playback are provided by YouTube; Google's Privacy Policy applies to that data: https://policies.google.com/privacy
What we collect.
The app does not require an account and does not ask for your Google login. We store the song searches made in the app and basic video details returned by YouTube (video ID, title, channel name, thumbnail) to speed up future searches. Singer names typed into the queue are kept only for the current session. We do not sell or share any data.
Cookies and local storage.
The app may use your browser's local storage to keep the current queue. Embedded YouTube videos may set cookies under Google's policies.
Retention and deletion.
Cached YouTube data is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, as YouTube's policies require. To have any stored data deleted, email scottalbertspainter@gmail.com and we will delete it within 7 days.
